Steampunk girl

I’ve got another atc to share with you (sorry,  scan isn’t too great)!

ATC_Steampunkgirl

I’d like to enter this Octopode steampunk girl into the following challenges:

  • Macabre Monday: Ripped to ribbons (I hope this gold mesh ribbon qualifies for the challenge)
  • Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers: C is for Crap (why the h** did I buy those flowers and butterflies? I hardly ever use any embellishments anyway…  Excellent opportunity to use them, though!)
  • Think Monday Think Atc: Butterfly girl
  • Pile it on: Metal (cogs and gears… about the only embellishments that I do like to incorporate in my projects).

Friendly monsters

Lots of people find monsters scary, but to me they are not! I find them mostly funny and adorable and they make me SMILE!

I’m so glad that So Artful Challenges focuses on ‘friendly monsters’ this month. Here’s my ATC (the colours are a bit brighter in person, especially the neon pink):

ATC_Rarrr

I used stamps and spray inks by Dylusions.

I hope this friendly monster made you smile!

My favourite winged creatures

I had this lovely butterfly postage stamp that I wanted to use on an atc, so I decided to combine it with stamped images of dragonflies and mail art stamps.

ATC_ButterflyStamp

The background is painted with gesso and sprayed and dripped with Dylusions inks. The edge of the card has been gold embossed.

This is my entry for the following challenges:

Stamps used

  • Postcard : Stampendous
  • Dragonflies: The artistic stamper
  • Spread your wings postage mark: Crafty Individuals
  • Grid: Stampers Anonymous

Humour

I love ATCs with a wink, so Stampotique Designers Challenge # 141 ‘Humour’ is right up my alley!

ATC_Fabulous

The quirky Stampotique images match really well with the funny sentiments by Dylusions, don’t you think?

I used Dylusions sprays, Derwent pencils, Distress stickles, silver embossing powder.

I’d also like to enter this atc into the ‘Anything goes’ challenge (#45) currently running at the Kreativer Bastel Blog.

Thanks for looking!

Steampunk album

I love the altered books and book covers I often see on other creative blogs, so I decided to alter the cover of the album in which I store stamped bits and pieces and collage images.

Here’s the result:

Green shamrock fairy

One can never create enough St Patrick’s Day ATCs!

ATC_LuckOfTheIrish

For the background I combined dry embossing, heat embossing and distress inks. The tag’s made from shrink plastic (that’s why the scan isn’t too great).

This is yet another ATC for the Stampotique Designers challenge, i.e. # 138 ‘Green’. I’m not quite sure if this winged creature qualifies as a forest/flower fairy, but it’s a shamrock fairy, so I’d like to enter this atc in the Wicked Wednesday Challenge ‘Forest/flower fairies’.

Stamps used

  • Tree topper & skulls (3 in a round): Stampotique
  • Sentiment: Stampsmith
  • Stripes: Stampers Anonymous

Jack Skellington

Some people find it hard to create masculine cards, but for me the opposite is actually true… I had lots of fun creating this masculine ATC featuring a big fan of Jack Skellington!

It’s my entry for:

ATC_JackSkeleton

I used structure paste and distress inks to create the brick wall background and stamped (& altered) and coloured the images. The sentiment is computer generated.

Stamps used

  • Smile: Stampotique
  • Frame: Stamp Francisco
  • Jack Skellington: Stamp It Crazy
