Humour

I love ATCs with a wink, so Stampotique Designers Challenge # 141 ‘Humour’ is right up my alley!

ATC_Fabulous

The quirky Stampotique images match really well with the funny sentiments by Dylusions, don’t you think?

I used Dylusions sprays, Derwent pencils, Distress stickles, silver embossing powder.

I’d also like to enter this atc into the ‘Anything goes’ challenge (#45) currently running at the Kreativer Bastel Blog.

You don’t need to be a fairy …

Daring Cardmakers wants us to be inspired by fairy tales and Stampootique challenges us to create a textured background. Here’s my entry:

GessoCrayonsTechniek_VoorAli

I created this textured background with gesso and used wax crayons to apply colour. I rubbed silver ink on the raised parts of the gesso, but unfortunately that’s not very obvious on scan. I really like this Dutch sentiment: in English it reads ‘You don’t need to be a fairy to perform miracles’.

Stamps used

  • Girl+sentiment:  Inkerbell stamps
  • Circles: Stampers Anonymous
  • Stars: Lavinia
  • Twig: Inkadinkado

You make my heart happy

And still more hearts to come!   Stampotique Designers Challenge # 85′ wants us to do whatever makes us happy. There’s no doubt that crafting makes me very happy… especially creating ATCs for swaps with creative people all over the world!  Moreover, Kira’s cute little monsters always make me smile.

ATC_StampotiqueHeartMonstersAs the monsters have been paper pieced and my ATCs features a  Hero Arts sentiment, I’d also like to enter this ATC into the Blog named Hero ‘Snip N’ stick’ challenge.

If sadness is a colour …

Hello there! It’s been way too long since my last blog post, but I’ll try to be a better girl from now on (with Santa approaching and all…)!

Here are two ATCs inspired by a song peformed by a Belgian artist called ‘Stash’.

I’d like to enter both ATCs into the following challenges:

The first ATC also fits the theme ‘Faces’ currently running at:

Stamps used

  • Face: Third coast stamps
  • Design scrap: Stampers Anonymous
  • Border: Technique Tuesday

And here’s my source of inspiration:

Colourful butterfly ATCs

Here’s a series of ATCs I haven’t shared on my blog yet:

Out of a hat creations wonders what our favourite technique or product is. I have so many, but I’ve recently discovered the Dylusions sprays and I instantly fell in love with them. The colours are so bright and I really love how the sprays react to water. This is also my entry for ‘winged things’ challenge over at ‘Crafty Cardmakers‘. The butterflies and all other stamps are Stampers Anonymous.

Shiny fairies

‘Do you believe in fairies?’ is this fortnight’s theme over at ‘Fun with ATCs‘ and Hels over at  ‘Sunday Stampers‘ wants to see something shiny. It was an excellent excuse for me to try out the new Brilliance inks I’ve recently bought:

Unfortunately, the subtle sparkle of the Brilliance inks is hard to capture on scan.

Stamps used

  • Fairies, flowers: Lavinia
  • Sentiment: Quietfire
  • Script background: Darkroom Door

Going postal

I didn’t manage to create a Wonderland card for The Altered Alice, but I’d like to enter a non-Alice ATC that does fit the ‘going postal’ theme:

The background was created with Distress Stains.

I’d also like to enter this ATC into the following challenges:

Stamps used

  • Winged man & sentiment: Tim Holtz
  • Script background: Darkroom Door
  • Flourish: Crafty Individuals
  • Obliteration marks: Scrollswork
  • Faux postage stamp:  A Capella
