My favourite winged creatures

I had this lovely butterfly postage stamp that I wanted to use on an atc, so I decided to combine it with stamped images of dragonflies and mail art stamps.

The background is painted with gesso and sprayed and dripped with Dylusions inks. The edge of the card has been gold embossed.

Going postal

I didn’t manage to create a Wonderland card for The Altered Alice, but I’d like to enter a non-Alice ATC that does fit the ‘going postal’ theme:

The background was created with Distress Stains.

I’d also like to enter this ATC into the following challenges:

Huginn and Muninn

Haunted Design House wants to see a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece featuring eyes. Here’s my ATC:

As you can read on the website of Alpha Stamps, Huginn and Muninn are a pair of ravens associated with the Norse god Odin. Huginn is “thought” (sometimes “idea”) and Muninn is “memory.” They are sent out at dawn to gather information and return in the evening. They perch on the god’s shoulders and whisper the news into his ears.

I’d also like to enter this ATC into this week’s “Anything goes with a twist” challenge set by Try it on Tuesday. The twist consists of using products available in the Craft Barn webshop and featuring the links to these items. Here’s my list:
