Once in a blue moon …

you look at the sky

and you see

a dark witch

flying by.

Here’s an ATC that I would like to enter to the following challenges:

The witch (Third Coast), the bats (Make your Mark) and the sentiment (Cherry Pie) where heat embossed in black. The background was brayered. The dark clouds are part of a Cherry Pie moon stamp and they were stamped with black Stazon on glossy paper.

Sorry for combining so many challenges, but I’m pretty sure that I won’t be able to get any more  crafting done the weeks to come…

Dark woman

Now that I know that my witch safely reached her new home @ Steffi’s in America, I can finally show her on my blog. I’d like to enter her for the “Dark women” challenge @ Art on the Darkside.

Stamps used:

  • Ornament, spiderweb and lace: Oxford Impressions “Haunted”
  • Witch: unknown
  • Bat: Make Your Mark

More New Year’s witches

Here are some more rather unusual New Year’s greetings.

I witch you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

At last I’ve found time to do some stamping again! Just as I was starting to discover the world of stamps, inks and ATCs, something unexpected came up. In August 2009 I entered a photography contest organised by Ancienne Belgique and I unexpectedly came out first. This means that, on top of a fulltime job, I spend an average of two evenings a week taking concert pictures at Ancienne Belgique and another two evenings processing and publishing them. Being a music and photography lover I quite adore this of course, but unfortunately it means also that there’s little time left for other creative hobbies.

However, the last few days I dug out my stamps again and I’d love to share some of the results with you. I adore Halloween stamps, but I never get to send any cards at that occasion.
It was a set of stamps by Gaïa that inspired me in using Halloween stamps to create Christmas greeting cards.

The stamps used are by:

  • Gaïa (witches, tree, present)
  • Cherry Pie (cauldron, cat)
  • Inkadinkado (cobweb)
  • Make Your Mark (bat)

The background paper is by Toga.
