Lightbeam atc

A couple of months ago I bought a wonderful interactive children’s book about underwater life and I immediately knew this would inspire me to create some interactive atcs based on the same ‘lightbeam’ principle :

ATC_Lightbeam

I stamped the sea animals on acetate and coloured them with alcohol inks. I adhered the acetate to a blue gelliprint background using eyelets. I put a white piece of cardstock inbetween to create a kind of diver’s lightbeam.

This is my entry for the following challenges:

Stamps used

  • Sea slug, starfish, sea plants: Oxford impressions
  • Fish: Stampinback
  • Octopet: Stampotique

Wow… this is such a beautiful and creative creation. Love all the fabulous sea animals on the acetate. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. 🙂

  2. This is such a cool and effective technique. It’s an awesome way to create a light beam. Love the underwater effect of the gelliprint background and those beautiful sea creatures. Thanks for joining our Anything Goes/Add a brad or eyelet challenge this fortnight at Craftitude. I hope we see you again soon.
