Distressed and embellished

Here’s a card for two of my favourite ‘creepy’ challenges: HDH Macabre Monday (pass the distressing) and Smudgy Antics (embellish it).

I don’t know if you’d agree, but I find the well-known Tim Holtz sentiment a perfect match for the  funny Smeared Ink Halloween image.  Makes me smile. 🙂

Stamps used

  • Little grumpy image: Smeared Ink
  • Stripes: Darkroom Door
  • Crackle: Hampton Art
  • Sentiment and design scrap: Tim Holtz

Hi Aisling, I adore your little Grumpie card and it’s good to see him come out at times other than Hallowe’en. That senti was made for him I think. Those sepia tones are great. Thank you for sharing this with us at both Smudgy Antics and Haunted Design House this week
