Winged things

Halloween being my favourite holiday of the year, I should be creating lots of Halloween projects at the moment, but instead, it seems that I’m still dreaming of the summer that was over before it even begun…

Both Crafty Individuals and Simon Says Stamp and Show want to see winged things, so I’ve indulged in making a number of butterfly ATCs:

Those will be heading to Finland for an international ‘anything goes’ swap.

Stamps used

  • Crafty Individuals: flower squares,  script background and ‘the earth laughs… ‘
  • Art Journey: flower (used in background of the 1st atc)
  • Katzelkraft: papillon sentiment
  • Stampinback: bookpage background
I mainly used watercolour techniques, sometimes combined with an embossed resist. The butterflies were punched out.

Yes, very stunning cards!!! I’m the happy owner of the first ATC! And I can tell you: it’s even more beautiful in reality. I’ve been admiring the card the whole evening. Thank you so much, Julie. I hope we will swap more cards in the future.
